365 Cards Day 9 - Song Inspired

What do you know... I'm not only quick of the mark today, I think I'm FIRST! I guess that's what happens when you wake up at 5.30 in the morning and can't get back to sleep, AND you live in the Eastern time zone of the US. I've got a three-hour jump on the rest of the country, and my card is ready to post at seven. Today's challenge was to make a card inspired by Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World (words below to remind you of it). My Inkadinkadoo stamp seemed perfect for it, and I used a little more of my handpainted paper, and some nice bright pinks and golds to go with it. The bird and flowers are layered and shaded with various markers, and I stamped my own background paper for the top part of the card.
What a Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

You can hear the song in full and see other people's cards on this link.
